DIGITAL TOOLKITS FOR EDUCATION
Higher Education Digital Toolkits equip colleges and universities with creative, ready-to-use resources that spark civic curiosity and drive student action. Designed for classrooms, campuses, and beyond. Each toolkit blends multimedia, interactive activities, and art to make civic learning relevant, engaging, and useful.
A CIVICS REMIX
Civics Is Sexy offers a multimedia approach to reimagine civic education for a generation dominated by social media. Trust in institutions is eroding, and traditional curricula have become irrelevant. Civics Is Sexy brings civics to where young people already are–online and in communities–using storytelling through the arts as an emotionally resonant invitation to learn and participate in shaping their future.

STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIPS
Founders Maximina Juson and Freedome Bradley-Ballentine bring deep mission-aligned partnerships with leading civic, educational, and cultural organizations to amplify impact and drive collective change. These partners have included The League of Women Voters, NAACP, Students Learn Students Vote, Homeboy Industries, Streetlights, and many more. Bradley-Ballentine has worked with the New York Department of Parks & Recreation, The Old Globe Theater, The New York Public Library, and more. Employing a collective impact model of change, our coalitions and collaborators help expand our reach, enrich our programming, and transform civic engagement into shared action.

DISINFORMATION INTERACTIVE WORKSHOPS
F.A.C.T.S. is an interactive media-literacy experience designed to help people better understand how information moves, emotions are amplified, and narratives are shaped in today’s digital landscape. Created by Civics Is Sexy, F.A.C.T.S. equips participants with practical tools to identify misinformation, recognize bias, and navigate social media with greater confidence and clarity.
Through guided discussion, real-world examples, and participatory exercises, F.A.C.T.S. explores how attention has become currency — and how outrage, fear, and identity are often leveraged to drive engagement. Rather than telling people what to think, the program focuses on how to think: asking better questions, slowing down reaction cycles, and strengthening critical judgment.
F.A.C.T.S. is ideal for colleges, universities, organizations, and community groups seeking an engaging, non-partisan approach to media literacy and civic awareness.
